Your RFP Cost Savings Dashboard and updating your proposal with contracted rates:

Once you have moved your RFP into Contracting in Progress by awarding the contract or the booking to the hotel, navigate to your Cost Savings tab, where you can track and report on cost savings achieved during your booking process for this RFP.

Cost savings on HopSkip are made up of two big buckets. The first is any approved concessions with a dollar value associated with that concession. Second is any cost savings you achieved through the negotiation process from proposed to contracted rates.

Update your contracted rates in your RFP on HopSkip to reflect those savings. Simply click the edit rates button in the upper right corner of your cost savings dashboard. From here, we can edit any of our proposed rates to reflect that contracted value, which will then flow to your cost savings dashboard.

So, for example, let's say we were able to lower our run-of-house room rate for the 225 room nights we needed for our run-of-house type rooms from $359 to, let's say, $240 dollars because of our great negotiating skills.

If I go back to my dashboard by clicking the view dashboard button in the upper right-hand corner, I can see those cost savings reflected and now report on those savings.
