Offering Alternate Dates on an RFP

How hoteliers can propose alternate dates when they don't have availability for the planner's original requested dates.

If your property doesn't have availability for the dates a planner originally requested, you may be able to propose alternate dates directly within your proposal β€” as long as the planner has enabled this setting on their RFP.

How to Propose Alternate Dates

  1. Open the RFP and navigate to the Proposal Builder tab.

  2. Click into the Room Rate tab.

  3. To the right of the planner's requested date blocks, click + Propose New Dates.

  4. Enter a date range that fits the planner's noted date pattern (e.g. same length of stay, same days of week).

    1. If the pattern you want to enter doesn't match what the planner has assigned to the RFP, please reach out to them directly to update the settings using the 'Messaging' tab.

  5. Continue to the next tab.

Button Greyed Out?

If the + Propose New Dates button is greyed out and hovering shows "Planner didn't allow to propose new date," the planner has not enabled this setting for their RFP.

In this case, reach out to the planner directly via the Chat Messaging tab on the RFP to let them know you'd like to offer alternate dates and ask if they can enable the option and/or update the date pattern.
