Your Property's Profile

An overview of the property profile section of your Hotelier dashboard.

Accessing Your Hotel Profile

Your hotel profile on HopSkip allows you to manage key details that meeting and event planners use to evaluate your property. Keeping this information current increases visibility and helps attract more qualified RFPs.

To access your profile:

  1. Click the Hotel Profile icon in the left-hand navigation menu

  2. Once opened, you can view and edit all information related to your hotel.

Please use the table of contents to help navigate to a specific tab within your property profile or expand the sections below to review all settings.


Updating Your Property Profile

All information is saved automatically as you make changes, and updates appear in the planner search index every 5 minutes. Use the left navigation menu to access different tabs of your profile.

Hotel Info Tab

  • Location- Maintain your property's address and contact information

  • Features- Update your star rating, service level, hotel type, amenities, awards and recognitions, and whether you offer a restaurant on-site

    • *TIp: Keeping this current ensures planners can find your property using custom search filters

Description

  • Enter the year your property opened and/or last renovation date

  • Add an optional tagline to capture planners' attention

  • Provide a virtual tour link that planners can access from search results

  • Use the Write with HopSkip AI feature to generate a description based on key words and highlights you provide

    • You can edit the AI-generated content as needed

Photos

  • We support jfif, jpg/jpeg, png, and webp images no larger than 2MB

  • Upload a hero image at the top of the Photos tab (our photo editor provides guidelines for proper display)

  • Free users can upload up to 15 additional photos; paid subscribers have unlimited photo uploads

  • Add captions using the pencil icon at the bottom right corner of each photo and press Enter to save

  • Three dots in the top right corner of each photo will help you either delete or assign it to a meeting space

  • To add new photos: Click 'Upload New Photos', either upload or drag/drop photos into the designated area

    • Upload a few at a time for best results if uploading many large files

Guest Rooms

  • Enter the total number of rooms

  • OR toggle on the 'Specify rooms by type' and 'Add New' totals for Single, Double, Two Doubles, Suite, and Accessible

Meeting Space

Enter summary information:

  • Total number of meeting rooms

  • Total meeting space (square feet)

  • Largest room (square feet)

  • Highest ceiling height (feet)

  • Floor plan link (if accessible online)

Click Add Meeting Room to enter specific meeting spaces with:

  • Room name and location (group/floor/area/building)

  • Dimensions (length, width, area, height)

  • Whether the room has structural columns

  • Layout capacities for various setups (Reception, Theater, Banquet Rounds, Classroom, Conference, Boardroom, U-Shape, Hollow Square, Exhibit configurations, Hybrid Studio, etc.)

Tip: Any meeting rooms created during proposal submission are automatically stored here for future use.

Preview

The preview card shows your search result appearance from the Planner's pov, including photos, room counts, meeting space details, and ratings.

Your details view from the Hopskip hotel search includes:

  • Additional photos (click "Show all photos")

  • Hotel overview (address, phone, website from Google Places)

  • Rooms and event space summary with property description

  • Affiliated organizations (CVBs/DMOs or sales & marketing affiliates)

  • Hotel location with nearby airports and interactive map

  • Meeting space details with ceiling heights and maximum capacities (click View Capacities for standard layouts)

  • Comparable hotels that have added your property to their Comp Set

  • Document library files available for download

Proposal Settings Tab

Pre-populate common information to speed up proposal creation. All fields can be edited within individual proposals as needed.

  • General Rates- Set default room rates, change your currency, and add boiler-plate comments that pre-populate in each proposal.

  • Taxes and Fees- Maintain custom taxes and fees for use in proposals.

  • Food & Beverage- Enter standard menu rates for F&B items.

    • *Proposals may include detailed menus and/or F&B minimums as necessary.

  • Decline Reasons- Manage standard reasons your team can select when turning down an RFP.

    • Each reason can be enabled or disabled at any time. You can also create custom reasons and view usage statistics for each.

Attachments

Configure which documents from your Document Library should automatically attach to proposals:

  • Only attach manually: Team members attach at their discretion

  • Attach to all proposals: Automatically included with every proposal

  • Attach when guest rooms are requested: Automatically included only if guest rooms are requested

  • Attach when meeting space is requested: Automatically included only if meeting space is requested

Tip: Team members can always remove attachments before submitting if necessary.

Benchmarking Tab, Comp Set (A Premium Hotelier Feature)

Comp Set

Paid Hotelier subscribers can access detailed competitive metrics via the Comp Set Dashboard to compare your hotel's performance against similar properties:

  1. Search for comparable hotels and add them to your list

  2. View a summary of your hotel's performance compared to those in your Comp Set

Your Comp Set display includes:

  • Guest room and meeting space capacities for comparison

  • Remove button to manage your list

Tip: Hotels that have added your property to their Comp Set will be displayed to Planners viewing your property details for their own comparisons.

Account Management Tab

Team Management

Your property profile includes unlimited licenses for team members at no additional charge. Here you can:

  • Configure new lead notifications by checking the Send All checkbox to specify lead catchers

  • Remove access by clicking the red delete button (this will prevent viewing/editing but doesn't delete any data)

  • Press the invite button with the hotel team member's email and click "invite" to add new users to the property.

Document Library

Store files like floor plans, menus, or flyers that planners might need. Configure documents in the Attachments tab to be automatically included with proposals.

Subscription & Billing

View effective dates of your paid subscription and manage payment methods by opening your Stripe customer portal.

  • If your property changes chain, brand, or affiliation, please contact HopSkip support via chat to have this updated

  • Maintaining a well-maintained profile maximizes exposure to planners and makes submitting proposals faster and easier!
