What is the Market Availability feature?
Market Availability provides an easy way to increase your leads from planners actively searching for availability at comparable hotels but haven’t yet requested a formal RFP from your hotel.
These leads allow your hotel to raise its hand and express interest before a full proposal is requested, giving you the chance to:
Fill open dates on your calendar
Get in front of new planners who may not yet know your property
Capture incremental business with minimal time investment
⚡ Quick Tip: Being among the first to respond greatly increases your chances of being selected for a formal proposal.
Where to Find Market Availability Leads:
Access your market availability leads directly from your Hopskip dashboard. Look for the Market Availability icon (map marker) on the left navigation panel of your RFP Dashboard.
You'll notice notifications appear whenever new leads become available. Click the icon to view your complete list of opportunities.
Viewing the Lead Details:
Click on any lead name in the list to open the Request Summary, which includes key information:
Request Type (e.g. meeting, conference, incentive)
Group Type (e.g. corporate, association)
Peak Room Nights
Largest Event Space Needed
RFP Agent of Record
Contract Signer Location
Planner Location
How to Submit Your Availability:
Completing the Response Form is fast and straightforward.
Enter Your Room Rate
Enter your guest room rate for the requested dates. This will help planners quickly evaluate the cost before issuing a full RFP.Confirm Event Space Availability
Let planners know if you’re available for meeting space on the specified dates.Add Your Contact Info
Include your phone number so planners can follow up easily.Include Any Applicable Taxes or Fees
Add taxes, resort fees, or other charges that may affect the final cost.Click "Submit Availability"
Once all fields are completed, find the submit button in the top right and click to share your availability with the planner.

What Happens Next?
After you submit your availability, here’s what to expect:
Planner Review
The planner will compare all responses received based on rate, availability, and fit.
Potential Follow-Up
If your hotel meets their needs, you may be invited to submit a full proposal through Hopskip — including detailed pricing, concessions, and event diagrams.
Stay Visible
Planners often move quickly. The sooner you respond, the better your chances of staying in consideration.
Track Your Responses
You can check the status of your submission at any time by clicking the Market Availability icon in your dashboard.
